Publications: a paper from our group has been accepted for Biomedical Optics Express

A paper co-authored by a member of our group has recently been accepted for publication in Biomedical Optics Express, a leading journal in the field of optics and photonics.

The main authors for this work are Sebastian Acuña and Mayank Roy, and the work is titled “Deriving high contrast fluorescence microscopy images through low contrast noisy image stacks”.

The other co-authors for this work are Luis E. Villegas-Hernández, Vishesh K. Dubey, Balpreet Singh Ahluwalia and Krishna Agarwal from the Department of Physics and Technology at UiT Tromsø, Norway.

It presents a new approach for obtaining a high contrast image from a noisy image stack. This was a collaborative work between UiT Norway and IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, India.
