is a Professor at UiT The Arctic University of Norway and a Visiting Professor at the National University of Singapore. He has published 130+ internationally peer-reviewed research articles (including CVPR, ECCV, TIP, etc.) and patents. He is also a Senior Member of IEEE. He is the author of the book Interpretability in Deep Learning, Springer, 2023. He was Program Chair of CVIP2017 and Co-organizer of the ICONIP 2022 workshop "Deep Learning and Security Techniques for Secure Video Processing". He was also a member of the organizing team of the ICCV workshop entitled "Resource Efficient Deep Learning for Computer Vision". His research interests include efficient image processing, pattern recognition, and artificial intelligence.

is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. He is also a Joint Faculty in the Mehta Family School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at IIT Roorkee and iHUB Divyasampark Chair Professor at the Technology Innovation Hub, a joint initiative of the DST, Government of India, and IIT Roorkee. is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Houston, USA. Earlier he was General Manager of Samsung Electronics, India. He has played a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing research collaborations between Samsung Research Institute and leading universities, both in India and abroad. He has played a key role in the PhD research internship program of SRI, aiming to provide meaningful research opportunities to PhD students. He has published 50+ research articles in international conferences/journals and 6+ patents. He has successfully developed and deployed key technologies in multimedia analysis, biomedical signal analysis, and computational bioinformatics. earned his PhD in 2022 from the University of Surrey, England, UK, specializing in computer vision and deep learning at the SketchX Lab, CVSSP, under Prof. Yi-Zhe Song and Prof. Tao (Tony) Xiang. Currently, He is a Senior Research Scientist at Sony PlayStation in London and Visiting Lecturer at University of Surrey, UK. Previously, he was integral at iSIZE, a deep-tech startup in London, leading the Compressed Video Denoising project. His contributions to the field are recognized through 25 CVPR, 4 ICCV, 3 ECCV, and 1 SIGGRAPH Asia publications.

Dr. Arif Ahmed
is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering, XIM University, Bhubaneswar, India. Previously, he was Post-doctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Physics and Technology at the UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Tromsø, Norway. From 2009 to 2019, he was an Assistant Professor of Computer Application at Haldia Institute of Technology, India. He is a Senior Member of IEEE.
is a Lecturer at the Department of Information Technology, James Cook University, Australia. She has published 50+ international journal and conference articles. Her research focuses on sentiment detection from written text and emotion identification from face images, recurrent neural networks, and fuzzy classifiers. She has worked on deep learning with applications to text, audio, and video.

is a PhD Fellow at the Bio-AI Lab, UiT The Arctic University of Norway. He authored a comprehensive book on "Interpretability in Deep Learning" (Springer 2023) and secured fundings for summer school aimed at educating PhDs and industry professionals.
